Lindsay Lohan Tries to Break the Internet With Revealing Selfie

For someone who has spent many years in the spotlight, Lohan has come to an understanding of how the media and the Internet can help or hurt one's career.

In a recent interview, the Mean Girls alumna even explained how social media has changed the game.

"I've been doing this for so long that it's different now. We didn't use to have Twitter and stuff," she explained in Hunger, We've Got Issues magazine. "Now the price that you pay is that your life is so much more viral. You can't get away from it. You have no privacy unless you choose to live your life a certain way."

And while Lohan isn't going to stop interacting with fans completely, she realizes that every day is an opportunity to grow.

"I chose to live my life in public," she explained. "I think it's just learning and I like to learn the hard way, clearly."
